LAILA’S POV
I felt like my body was shutting down from top to bottom. I don’t think I have ever been this scared in my life. I want one who could easily be intimidated or scared by anyone but Dylan’s mom was like the bogeyman to me. All I had to hear was her name for me to be scared and run for the hills. I tried to encourage myself and even convince myself that she wasn’t going to do anything to me but she wasn’t just a regular human being. If she lost her temper with me she could just jump over the table and turn into a huge dog. The thought of my skin under her teeth sent a chill down my spine and I considered running back to the room and gelling Dylan to take me back home.
