“Are you okay Thanatos? You keep on looking around as if you are afraid to see someone.” I stopped looking around when I heard Diana talking to me.
“W-what? Huh? No. I am not”
I faced her as I scratched the back of my head. Damn it! I can't help myself but to look around. I want to avoid Makaria. I don't want to see her at the moment.
“You are weird. What happened last night?”
“Last night? What do you mean?” When I heard her question, I started to panic. But I tried my best not to make it too obvious. I don't want anything to remind me of what happened last night!

“Hey! Thanatos are you alright? Thanatos hello?” I came back to reality when I saw her fingers snap in front of me.
“Yes! Yes I am”
“What is wrong with you? You are acting so strange” I can see that she is confused right now.
“Me? Strange? No! Uhm… I think I need to go already. I have to clean the hallway on the fourth floor” I immediately stood up as I got the mop at my side. I was trying to get away with the topic.
“You are keeping secrets again huh”
“N-no. I am not”
“I don't believe that. I just asked what happened last night and you start to stare out of nowhere as if you have remembered something” she held my hand and they looked straight at my face.
“What? No, I don't. You are just imagining things”
“Me? Imagining? Oh, come on!”
Then suddenly, a familiar voice was heard. Out of the blue he went towards us. I don't feel good about this, I don't feel good about him.
“Hey Thanatos, it is nice to see you again here!”
“Sir…Raiden”
“Hi, Sir,” I said as I stared down on the floor. This is one of the people that I least wanted to see right now.
“Hi, looks like you two are arguing again huh?” I was surprised when he suddenly wrapped his arms around my shoulders. I don't want him near me. It feels like something is wrong. I still remember that time when the ghost Meria wanted her revenge against him. I am sure there is something off about him and I wanted to figure it out somehow.
“Oh *laugh* no sir… Thanatos and I are just having a nice talk. Right Thanatos?” as expected from Dianna, she's trying to talk with Raiden as if they are close.
“Yeah” I have no other choice but to agree. That is all that I can do.
“Is that so? By the way are you alright now? How are you feeling?”
“I feel great. Don't have to worry sir” I said without looking at him. I feel very awkward and uncomfortable in our position right now. I feel like I just wanted to disappear.
“No, I am not that worried. I am just concerned *laugh*”
“Is there anything different between the two?” I asked because I don't actually understand what he is talking about.
“Ughm… a little? Anyways, I heard that Makaria visited you” And there it is. Somehow I expected this moment. Of course, he won't just hang with us here without any intentions of asking questions about his love, whom I don't want to see.
“Oh yeah… I found Makaria in his house the other day”
“Really Dianna? Hmmm… that's not so typical right?”
“Actually, yes sir. I was surprised when I saw her there. She is not actually fond of doing that to her employees” I just let them talk about her. There is nothing for me to say. I don't want to.
“Yeah right? What do you think, Thanatos?” but then, of course, Raiden wanted to hear something from me.
“S-sir?”
“Oh come on I told you to just call me Raiden. If you don't mind, what did she do with you there? Alone time huh? I am curious… because as you all know, I am courting Makaria” I am so uncomfortable with his arms wrapping my shoulder! I want to shrug it but he may think that I am disrespecting him.
I am not surprised by him being so curious about Makaria and me but, can he just ask the lady about it?! Because even I can't remember everything. Just a tiny bit of an embarrassing moment… but other than that, nothing more.
“We just… talked”
“Talk about what? The last thing I remember, the two of you don't really like each other much right? What happened?”
“She just wants to annoy me… Raiden” then I try my best to get away with him but he is continuously pulling me near.
“Annoy you? Really? Well, she is taking it seriously. She put a lot of effort to visit you at your house just to annoy you”
“Y-yes… that is right.” he is trying to look at my face but I am just staring down at the floor.
“Hmmm… why do I feel that there's something more to that?”
“W-what?” I softly say before Eve came along. Damn it. Why do I feel like I don't really like what's going to happen?
“Excuse me, Mr. Salvador. Miss Antoinette wants to meet you”
I AM RIGHT. I DON'T LIKE IT.
“Eve what again? MY MAKARIA wants to meet him? For what reason? Can I come with him? She didn't even ask me to go to her office but Thanatos? How lucky is the guy!” Raiden was surprised. He immediately untangled his arms on my shoulders and then went close to Eve.
“It's nothing personal Sir Raiden. She also said that she wants to be alone with him”
“Nothing personal, but ALONE time? Really Eve?” with the tone of his voice, he looked jealous. I am not quite sure if there is something to be jealous about.
“Trust me, it is nothing. Now, Mr. Salvador, come with me” suddenly, Eve grabbed my arm, but I insisted.
“Am I allowed not to go with you?”
“What?! Are you okay? You know my boss, she doesn't take NO as an answer”
“Please. I really don't want to” I looked at her with a begging face. After what I did yesterday… after the questions that I have asked Makaria… I feel more embarrassed and I don't want to see her. I'm getting very ashamed.
“Look at that Eve! He doesn't want to come with you to her office so why don't you take me instead?” I just looked at Raiden when he's trying to convince Eve. I wonder why he likes Makaria that much.
“Sorry, you're not Mr. Salvador”
“Oh come on! I am cuter!”
“I won't go with you, Eve. Sorry” I said before I turned around and walked away.
“What?! Hey, where are you going Mr. Salvador!!! You'll regret running away!”
“Oops don't try to chase him. Take me instead Eve. Take me to her office” and it seems like Raiden stopped her from trying to follow me. I grabbed that chance to run. I just left the mop there and run away.
“Miss Antoinette doesn't want to meet you, Raiden”
“Ouch, that hurts. Please be more careful about what you say… you are hurting me”
“Thanatos, come back!”
That is the last thing I heard before I went on the stairs leading the way up to the rooftop. I got so exhausted by running from the ground floor to the sixth floor of this building. I almost didn't get there.
I got slower as I climbed up. But then, I reached the rooftop at last! It took me a lot of minutes to get here.
“Do you really think you can get away from me?”
Suddenly…
“Ma'am Antoinette…” I didn't expect to see her here! She is standing at the corner while her soft hair is waving along with the wind.
I thought I would be alone here but… it seems like she is just waiting for me to come! How?
“Yes, it is me in the gorgeous flesh. There is an elevator, in case you don't know about it.” damn! Of course, she used that while I was struggling to run all the way here. How foolish are you Thanatos?! “By the way, why are you running away from me?”
“Please, if you're not planning to tell me everything that happened last night… please I am begging you to stay away” I am still trying to breathe properly, I am panting right now!
“Oh, sorry but you can't tell me what to do”
“That's why… I'm begging”
“How about… instead of begging, let's have a trade?”
There she is again, trying to convince me. What should I expect? I know she still wanted to know what I was hiding.
“What trade?
“You tell me your secret and I will tell you my secret”
Not again.
“You know that I won't do that. For the Nth time Makaria”
“Really? Are you really really sure about that decision? I am giving you a chance to know what happened to us. What REALLY happened” she started to walk towards me. And my heart starts to beat so fast, again. Damn it, I am going to die because of this! I might have a heart attack.
“If that is the case, it is better for me not to know everything”
“Well well Thanatos, you're really tough. I can't break you easily”
“It's for your own good”
“I don't really understand what OWN good you are talking about.” She is trying to get close to me but I am moving away.
“It is better this way”
“What if something really happened to us that night? You are liable if ever I got pregnant”

My eyes automatically widened up as I heard what she said. I stopped moving as I looked straight at her face.
“What? That can't be”
“Well… you like me. You confessed, we are both drunk and…”
“No! You're lying” then I stared at the ground again. Damn it! Why can't I remember that moment?! I don't know if I can believe what she is saying right now!
“*laugh* Then why are you looking so guilty? Bye Thanatos. I'll update you if ever that I found out that you are going to be a daddy”
