“Don’t you think it's time that you take my place?” my mouth fell open as I stared at my dad from across his desk in his office.
“What?” I croaked out and he chuckled as he leaned back in his seat.
“You’ve already dropped out of school, and you are in attendance with everything that is happening around here. So, once again, don’t you think it's time that you take my place?” my dad was smiling encouragingly and even though I knew it was probably time, I wasn’t sure I was ready.
