18 - Playing nurse
After the nurses checked on Alex and the doctor came in to tell him about his condition. Alex listening to him but he didn’t take his eyes off me. Seeing his sexy grin again, made my core flutter. I’ve missed him so much. We were soon left on our own, the nurses bring Alex something to drink and a light snack for us to share.
I was lying with my head on his chest making sure not to hurt his wound as he was playing with my hair. I had told him about Annie being shot by the cops as she put up a fight.
“To be honest, I’m glad she won’t bother us again. But you are right she needed help and she didn’t get it"
“That’s one of the many things I love about you. Always thinking off others even though they put you in danger and me in hospital” he chuckles but winced in pain.
