Episode 10

I heard Shiloh in my mind. I was so glad to have her. My voice was still trembling.

"He is there, but he is healing himself. He can wake up, but only if it is desperately needed."

"Why is your voice trembling?"

I lowered my head more. I was afraid to answer. I remembered his beta. He said I can't see him anymore, and he was very strong. Now Alpha is in good health, so he must be stronger too.

"Why are you not answering me? Are you not respecting me that much to give me an answer?"

"I do respect you so much. I just..."

I closed my eyes and bit my lower lip.

"I'm afraid of you."

I didn't look at him, but I could feel he was looking at me with a sudden movement like someone who was surprised.

He stepped closer, which made my heart beat faster.

"You are afraid of me, but you saved my life?"

I nodded. He took another step toward me. That made me breathe harder.

"I even offered to ask me what you want."

"I cannot be more grateful for that, Alpha."

"I expected you to come and tell me what you need."

I stayed quiet for a second. He came even closer and his sweet scent gave me an unfamiliar feeling. As I breathed that scent in, I felt I was in some kind of daze. It was hard to talk, but I forced myself to do so.

"I have everything here, Alpha."

"Are you sure about that?"

He nearly whispered, and his head was that close to me I could even feel his warm breath. I was lost. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest.

"Actually to answer your question. The reason why I came here today is because I wanted to see you. As I told you, I expected you to come to me, but it didn't happen, so I decided to come to you."

He whispered to me.

I nearly jumped when I felt his fingertips caressing my face, moving down slowly to my chin. And with a gentle movement he made me lift my head, and I slowly moved my eyes to look into his. As I looked into his eyes I felt some kind of sparkle.

He slowly moved his eyes down to my lips, and with a slow movement he caressed my lower lip with his thumb. My eyes went wide when he bent down. He closed his eyes, and his hot and soft lips touched mine. I felt butterflies in my stomach; it was a feeling I never experienced, but I wanted more. After that gentle kiss, he pulled away a bit from me. Still kept his eyes closed.

"Kiss me back, Aurora."

He ordered me gently, nearly whispering.

Then, with the next move, he kissed my lips again, and soon his tongue found its way to mine. I have never kissed, but this kiss just felt so right. It felt like he didn't want to stop, just like me. But after a long time, he pulled himself away, still stayed close. He still kept my head to look at him.

"Have dinner with me this evening. I am sending for you to take you to the castle."

I nodded. It wasn't like I didn't want to go, but I also couldn’t refuse him. I cannot disrespect the Alpha.

"Good."

He let me go and gave me a small smile, then he left. I stood there for a while. I touched my lips. I couldn't believe what just happened. I stood there in a daze, I don’t know how long, but probably long enough, because I could only be back in the real world when Sister Anne ran to me.

"Aurora, are you alright?"

She asked me worriedly. It took me a few moments for I was able to come out of my daze and look at her.

"What did the Alpha tell you? Why did he come?"

She shook me worriedly.

"He invited me for dinner."

She looked at me in disbelief. He let me go immediately, then she had a sad look. First she looked at the ground, then she stepped closer to me, and looked at me worriedly again. She lifted her hand up to caress my face.

"You have to be ready."

She whispered, and I looked at her surprisedly.

"What do you mean?"

"The Alpha likes you, you have to follow his orders. You have to be obedient, understand? Doesn't matter how hard it is, you have to do what he says, and what he wants. You have to fulfill his wishes, it doesn't matter what it is. I'm sorry. "

Her tone was very kind, and I just got to understand she thought that was going to be a pain for me. I held her hand.

"Sister, don't worry about me. "

"I know that you are strong darling, you are so different than the others here, I just don't want you to get hurt."

I looked away. She was right. Even if the Alpha wanted me, the best position that I could fill in the castle was his mistress. Well, maybe I'm wrong.
