Abbey’s POV I wake up to the afternoon light streaming in from the window, the late rays landing across my face as I blink groggily. Sitting up, it takes a second for me to remember why I’m in bed in the middle of the day, fully clothed. I blink back the tears that spring to my eyes, refusing to cry any more.
