Chapter Thirty-One “I don’t know how you can be hungry again.” Sarah said as she linked her arm with mine. “I’ve got a high metabolism.” I grinned, it wasn’t a lie. Shifters needed to eat more. When I claimed Sarah, even though she was just my mate, she’d need more calories to keep up with me and any children we might have. The thought of Sarah carrying my offspring made my heart do a funny little flip as I thought about how she’d be with them. “What’s got you smiling like that?” Sarah asked as we walked closer to the restaurant. I shook my head, not wanting to say anything that could scare her off. It was too soon to be talking about things like kids. Dragons moved fast. Sarah wasn’t a dragon, I couldn’t just claim her and tell her that she was mine. Even if she’d already said that
