The next morning comes to fast after a night like I had with River. I don’t want to leave the comfort of our bed. But the girls run into the room and wake us. They are so excited to talk about all the fun they had last night. River and I pull them up on the bed between us and we let them tell us all about the fun they had.
After a lot of talking and giggling we head downstairs for breakfast. Rachel isn’t at breakfast; River and I laugh to ourselves. Everyone was excitedly talking about the party last night and how much fun they had. As I listen, I smile to myself, happy that I could make their night so enjoyable.
