Jocelyn Gertrude Roswell A loud ringing in my ear and a pounding headache welcomed me as I woke up on the cold hard floor. Muffled voices could be heard amidst the ringing sound, and I felt something cold being brought to my lips. “…drink up…” I managed to hear as some cold liquid was forced into my mouth. I gagged at the bitter taste of it and attempted to spit it out, but I reacted too late, and it had already begun passing down my throat.
