Micah’s POV
Hearing them say that she was nearly hit by a car nearly threw me for a loop. I reviewed the footage, able to get anything off it because the license plates were covered and it was a generic car. Whoever was driving the car was determined not to get caught. They wanted to make sure that they hit the mother of my children—my surrogate.
It was something they were going to pay for.
Thinking of it was enough to make me growl in anger. I couldn’t imagine that she could’ve been killed had she not moved out of the way. It proved what a clever and strong person she was. Robin may not think. Much of herself, but it was true.
Then I had to deal with the fact that there were rumors of Robin being pregnant. Between the car nearly hitting her and the rumors, I was running myself ragged.
