ZION was accompanied by a female nurse to go inside of the Doctor's office.
"Good afternoon, Dra. Layon," he greeted respectfully, and he approached her desk in a stern look.
"Please have a seat, Mr. Zion Rilo," Dra. Layon said, and gestured him to take a seat.
He so sat down in front of her, and they looked at each other.
"Is this your first time to consult a Psychiatrist?" she asked with a grin.
"Yes, actually," he shyly answered.
"So, it says here that you're 42 years old. You don't look like one. More like 30s. Are you working out?"
"Yes, I do sometimes on my free time."
"May I ask what do you do for a living?"
"I am a businessman. I started my business five years ago."
"That's good to know. So tell me now, how many times do you usually stay in your office?"
"8 hours but sometimes, more than that."
"How many hours are we talking about 'more than that'?"
"More like 12 hours. I bring my work at home sometimes."
"And, do you take leave from your work sometimes too?"
"Leave? No, I don't. For five years, I haven't had a leave to go unwind, or leave the country. But before this year end, I will go abroad for some business trip."
"I see. Are you in a relationship? Or, are you a workaholic man? No offense."
"None taken, Dra. I understand that this is part of consultation."
"That's good to know."
"Um... Well, not really. And when I say not really, I meant, I met a perfect woman. We had a night together but after that, she left me. I haven't tell anyone about this but... she needed me to get pregnant. She doesn't want to get married or have a family with any man because she's a strong and independent woman, and I respect that."
"But, did you ask her out, or something?"
He didn't answer quickly, he just stayed quiet for a moment while reminiscing.
"To be honest, no, I did not. I didn't try. Her Auntie told me that I should but, I was too shy to ask her out until she left without telling me."
"Do you like her?"
"I—uh... I do. I do like her. Actually, until now. I am still waiting for her to come back," he confessed while looking down and envisaging her face.
Dra. Layon smiled on his confession. "Do you think if you confess to her before, you would end up together?"
"Uh... I don't know. She's too perfect for me. She's like an alpha among the pack, while I'm just a puppy. I don't think she'll ever want to be with me if she's surrounded by much richer and handsome men."
"You think you won't stand a chance?"
"No, I don't think so," he truthfully replied.
"Last question, when did your insomia start? What was the cause of it, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Um... It began when she left me without talking to me where she actually wanted to see and talk to me. I had no idea that she was calling me so, I lost the chance. The night she left, I can't shut my brain down. There were a lot of possible scenarios playing in my head... like how she and I would've talk, how things should've end between her and me. Something like that. I imagined a lot of things already. And every night, my mind kept creating things I would worry about, that would end up of me not having a good sleep and stay up all day. Only the sleeping pills is helping me right now."
"I see. And that's the end of our session. I would give my recommendation now so, listen very carefully," she earnestly told.
"Okay, I'm listening, Dra."
"According to your history, you are suffering from depression and that's why you have insomia. You cannot sleep because you have an unfinished business with her, and I think she is the only one who can help you recover. It began to her, and it will end to her. Have you tried to call, chat, or text her? We have various of communication nowadays," she diagnosed, and queried.
"I did. I did try to connect with her. It just that... she chose to ignore and avoid me just like I did to her before," he admitted, and he looked down feeling guilty.
"You know, Zion— I will call you by your name, if that is okay with you to make it casual? Like we are just friends talking so, you won't feel awkward and tense every time I would ask something." She smiled at him to give him assurance.
"That's okay with me, Dra.—"
"Please call me Heart. That's my first name. To make it more casual."
"Okay, Ms. Heart," he said with a smile too for the first time.
"As I were saying, you know, Zion, women are easy. Yes, we return what is given to us but, once we feel unvalued and get ignored, avoided, we seperate ourselves to that person instantly. And that means our trust in man has been disappeared," she advised.
"I-Is there anything that I can do to restore her trust?" he desperately asked all of a sudden.
"I told you, Zion, we, women are simple. You shows us how sincere you are, that you've change, and you will promise that you won't do it again then we might give you a second chance. But of course, if you take that for granted, and keeps repeating it without planning of changing yourself then we won't give you another chance. It will be the end of the relationship," she mentioned.
Those words synced in him, giving him thoughts that made him quiet.

Thereafter, while Dra. Layon is writing, she recalled Zion smiled for the first time when she mentioned her name.
"That's a first. Because for the entire consultation, he just put a stern face. He's more handsome when he smiles. I wonder who was that woman," she mumbled, and a smile formed onto her face.

NIGHT came, he remembered what Dra. Layon said about other alternative to make him sleep naturally, like do things that makes him tired. So, he goes to treadmill and runs until he sweats. But after two hours, he stopped and just sat down.
"I don't feel sleepy," he uttered to himself.
"If that doesn't help you, try to just lie down and stare at the ceiling until your eyes slowly close..." Dra. Layon recommended a while ago.
And he just lied down on his bed, stares at the ceiling for two hours, but his eyes couldn't shut down.
Then, he also tried to watch tv with lights off just like she said to induce sleeping but unfortunately, it didn't help until he finished the movie.
He even tried to close his eyes only without moving, but to no avail until the sun goes up and it's time to go to work again.
With no energy, he stood up and prepared his black coffee to make his body work even he doesn't want to.

The family Wayman are having breakfast altogether in the white rectangular table joyfully because of the twins who has different facial expressions.
"I thought Mom that you cannot stand? How come you are sitting now?" Toni wondered.
"My little angels pulled me up and it ain't no way I'll stay in the bed while my babies get bored from playing with their Papito. I want to play with them too. Right, my babies?" Loren grinned towards her grandchildren.
Toni and Warren laughed at them too.
"So, where do you want to go today, my babies?" Loren cheerfully asked.
"Please, Mom, don't spoiled them," Toni commented while eating.
"Don't worry, I won't spoiled them. I'll just give them gifts," Loren said, and she diverted her attention to her daughter. "Their birthday is coming up next month. When are you planning to celebrate it?"
"We are planning to go to the Disneyland."
"That's amazing. Can we come along too?" Warren asked with excitement on his face.
"Of course, Dad," Toni sweetly replied with a grin.
"Momita, can we go to the Mall today? I want to play! I want to play!" Kaile screamed in delight.
"Okay. But, let's ask your sister too and then, we cast our vote. Unanimous wins. Alright?" she sweetly told.
"Okay," Kaile nodded in response.
"How about you, Kaori, where do you want to go?"
Everyone stared at Kaori and waiting for her to speak when she suddenly screams.
"To the Mall!!!" she vigorously announced.
All got a little surprised at her yelling but when she said that she also wanted to the Mall, they all shouted with excitement except from Toni, who just pressed her lips and resumed eating.
.
.
SUBSEQUENTLY, the family all goes to Mall, but Momita stayed in the wheelchair due to her condition while Papito keeps pushing it. They wandered the place, eat here and there, play here and there, and buy here and there. They are all having fun together when suddenly Toni's phone ring for a call so, she let her Mom take Kaori's hand that she's been holding. Seeing that it's her Auntie, she answers it by putting it on her right ear while walking behind them so, her parents won't hear her.
"Yes, Auntie?" Toni said while following her family.
"I called because I was texting you, but you're not replying. Wait... it's noisy there. Are you outside? Where exactly are you so, I'll come to see you now? Are you with the twins? Because I can hear children's voices in the background," Dra. Ko queried with excitement on her voice.
"Sorry, I wasn't replying. I got busy. But yes, we're outside. We're actually at the Mall right now and having fun. The kids wanted to play with their grandparents so, we're here."
"Grandparents? You mean, Loren is with you too even she just got discharged from the surgery and her surgeon said to have a bed rest for two weeks?" Dra. Ko got surprised on that news that her eyes widened while driving.
"Yes, that's right, Auntie. She said the twins pulled her out of the bed and because she loves them, it ain't no way she's staying in the bed without playing with her grandchildren while they are here," Toni mimicked her Mom, and she snickered.
"My gosh. She's stubborn just like you," Dra. Ko commented, and she laughed. "So, where are you? I'll come over. I'm driving," she asked for the second time.
"We're here at the Southeastern Mall known as the Manhattan one and only Mall. We're going to have some lunch. I'll text you what resto because we can't decide yet where to eat."
"Okay. I'm on my way. See ya'!" Dra. Ko mentioned, and she ended the call to drive fast going to the Mall for her to be able to meet her niece and the twins for the first time in five years.

However, Zion is quietly working with his tablet inside his car while Jerry is driving in front of him.
"What's the time now?" Zion asked without lifting his head.
"Um... It's quarter to 11, President," Jerry answered, glancing at his boss from the mirror.
"And, what time is my meeting?"
"Uh— 11, President," Jerry awkwardly answered.
"I'm glad and you know, now step on it," Zion seriously spoke, and he glared at the back of his assistant's head.
"Yes, Sir. I'm sorry," Jerry replied, and he stepped on the gas more.
