Chapter Fourteen

3732 Words
CHRISTIAN Ryder and I eye the woman standing in the Principal's office, clearly pissed that her highness was summoned back to the place where she thought she got rid of her niece. Well, Ava's status as a Sinclair is more than just speculation now. Great. Just f!cking great. The principal, Mr. Glazer, catches our gaze and places a smirk on his face. He must have known that we somehow made her vanish within the system but he must of had a copy of all student files that Alex failed to think about. Now our blackmail towards him will come full force. We gave him a chance to redeem himself but seems that wasn't going to stick. He might have stopped screwing the students but his grudge against us is apparent. Wait, hold that thought. Mimi comes walking out of his private office and graces us with her appearance. She goes to stand behind him, casting a smirk towards us too. That's it. Hope you like prison, asshole. Ryder's tension is radiating by my side, super intent on hearing what the hell is going on. The fact that Mimi is here only makes matters worse. She is the reigning heiress to a multi-million dollar fortune. "So? Are you going to have me stand here or are you going to tell my niece to come here this instant? I am not paying this Academy to idle while I have more important things to do than be here for this idiocy." She scolds Mr. Glazer, who snaps his attention to the receptionist who goes to the loudspeaker to call upon Ava. "Ava Sinclair, please report to the Principals office promptly." She says and I make my way outside of the room to keep an eye out for her. Standing here feels like an eternity with no sign of her. Ryder comes up from behind me and peers out into the hallway. "Do you know where she is?" I ask him to which he just shrugs at me. "You came to the room looking a mess. The only time you make that defeated face is when you are or were with her so let me ask you again, where is she?" My annoyance heightens towards Ryder, when I catch Ava walking towards us. She looks like she had been crying and I glare daggers Ryder's way. If he had any hand in the way she looks, there will be problems. "Hey, hey. You okay? Don't go in there if you can't." I pull her to me and she just gives me a blank look with her eyes looking dull. She closes her eyes and breathes in and out before opening them and a slight spark glistens within them. "Theres's my girl. You going to be okay?" She nods and then tosses a glance at Ryder with a look of uncertainty between them. Note to self. Find out what the actual f!cking hell is going on between them. "I got this. Mimi is going to pay for being a snitch." She passes by us and enters the room. I follow right behind her not giving a damn if I am involved or not. "Ah, Ms. Sinclair. So nice of you to join us. Come, let's all go into my office. Uh, not you Mr. Jameson. You can see yourself to wherever." Mr. Glazer states but before I can answer, Ryder storms through, a man on a mission, narrowing his eyes at his audacity. "I'm seeing that I stand with Ava in this situation. I was witness to the whole event. If you think you have the full story, believing the lies to come out of that mouth, which you, Mr. Glazer, must be very well acquainted with, then you are stupider than you look." Ryder spits knowingly exposing his secret to a room full of people. Looks like Ryder's taking it upon himself to cause havoc. I'll do the same. Mr. Glazer stands there with wide eyes and looks to everyone standing with shocked expressions, including Mimi, who must be sh!tting her pants right now. "And exactly who might you be young man?" Ava's aunt breaks the silence blanketing the room. "Ryder Jameson." He states making her eyes widen more with that response. "Jameson, as in Victor Jameson's son?" The wary look she gives is a key indicator of knowing just how lethal our bloodline is. She glances towards Ava who remains standing with an impassive look on her face, showing no signs of emotions. She then turns to Mr. Glazer with a deep scowl. "If my hearing is correct, did this young man just insinuate that you have been having s****l relations with this girl who is apparently accusing my niece of assault? In that case, the only form of assault I am to conclude happening here is the fact that you are sexually assaulting young girls. You are a sickening person Mr. Glazer. You seem to fail to realize who I am. Let me remind you. HAROLD!" She yells profusely and a giant man comes barging out of nowhere into the office. "Ah, there you are. See to it that this trash is removed and is thrown into jail with no chance of bail. Tell the Police Commissioner I warrant it. Thank you Harold." She says with such conviction it makes me rethink just how much power this one woman holds. If she can do all this, then why the hell couldn't she save her niece from a life of heartache and pain? I watch as Harold escorts Mr. Glazer out of the room. "Now, as for you young girl, would you like to issue a statement of assault against my niece?" She says coldly and Mimi just stares at her with fear. Bet she didn't think things would take a turn for the worst, towards her. "No....no, ma'am." Mimi says shakily. "Good answer my dear. Very well then, see to it that you try and find your dignity or else I will have to have a rather ugly discussion with your parents. If you are so careless regarding who you give your body to, then I don't see you being able to handle your fortune without squandering it down the drain." She adds while Mimi starts to tear, literally shaking where she stands. "Yes....yes ma'am." She says before scurrying out of the office. I stand there lacking any words all while Ryder stands there with his arms across his chest with narrowed eyes. Ava has to be shocked by this sudden turns of events. Has to be...right? "Will you two give me a moment with my niece?" She looks from me to Ryder and I nudge him but he doesn't budge. "Ryder. Hello? Let's go." I say but he remains planted to the spot. There is an unspoken discussion between him and Ava, one that I am not f!cking privy to, but I refuse to leave their side either. "Sorry Ms. Sinclair. With all due respect, whatever you have to say to Ava, you can say with us by her side." I cooly state which garners a curious look from her. "Ah, well, with all due respect, young man, I surely will not allow my niece to be anywhere near you two, especially knowing how your father is. You carry that piece of sh!t's last name, do you not?" Her look of anger pierces us. "Since you do, I have no trust that you are working with him, or for him. No Jameson is to be trusted. Now, get the f!ck out!" She roars but we do not falter. Ava stands in front of us, hands balled into fists. "Are you meaning to tell me that you knew what was going on this whole f!cking time?! You actually knew the truth of my escape and dropped me off here thinking I would be safe?" She grits out, getting closer to her aunt. Her aunt doesn't even flinch with her advancement towards her. "I had a feeling but it was soon confirmed when the rat bast!rd reached out to me asking if I had heard from you. He went on and on about my sister being all frantic when she could not find you. I knew it was all a ruse to get me to tell him your whereabouts. Why do you think I accepted your plea in changing your last name? Why do you think I asked for no communication and for you to keep your head down? I didn't need him tracking you. But for some strange reason everyone here came to find out your true last name." She looks to me and Ryder and shakes her head. "You sent me into the lion's den! Did you know they would be here, his son's?" She retorts but her aunt doesn't back down. "I did not know they were here." She eyes Ava with sincerity. Ava drops her head and combs her fingers through her hair. "They don't work for their father. They hate him as much as I do. He won't stop looking for me, you know that right? He already found me. They have been protecting me. They sent him information stating that I was hopping from state to state, basically making him go on a wild goose chase." Her aunt gasps slightly and begins to pace around. "That won't stop him from figuring sh!t out Ava, especially today. He is a conniving, manipulative, vindictive man. Any multitude of people will be opening their mouths knowing why I am here. You need to get out of here. Run. Run far, far away." Her aunt pleads with her. "Like hell will we allow her to run away. She isn't f!cking leaving here. We will protect her!" I shout, making it known that this is where she belongs. Ava walks towards me and wraps her hand in mind. I can feel my insides burning and the sight Ava's aunt takes in before her makes her clench her teeth. "Ava. Use some common sense for once..." Ava shifts away from me, barreling towards her aunt. "Use my common sense?! You have got to be kidding me right now! Why didn't you use your common sense when you saw how broken and battered and abused I was when I was only a little girl!? Why didn't you use your common sense to whisk me away so I wasn't abused daily or have that scumbags eyes set on me?! You had every f!cking opportunity to f!cking save me but you didn't. I have scars beneath scars from my childhood. My scars run skin deep, through my mind, emotionally, physically and pretty much mentally. I suffered f!cking enough so don't you dare tell me to use my common sense. I used it when I ran for my life that night and used it to come find you only to have you throw me away like the garbage you see me as!" Her body is shaking and it takes both me and Ryder to help calm her down. I stay to her left while Ryder is to her right. "Oh Ava. I'm so....." She begins to say but Ava stops her. "Don't you f!cking apologize!" She yells. Her walls are collapsing and we need to get her out of this office before she has a mental breakdown. We try to pull her away but she halts herself. "Why send me here? Why not fly me out of the country?" She demands, nearly broken at the seams. She is trying so hard to stay together. I cringe at the thought of having not known of her existence. "I sent you here so you could meet your biological mother." We all go bug eyed with that response. "My what?!" Ava squeals. "Did you not open the envelope I gave you?" Ava drops her head momentarily before picking it up. "I burnt it." Her aunt gives a slight smirk. "Should have thought you would do that. That doesn't matter now. What matters is that you seek her out immediately." "Who is she? She works here?" Ava's aunt nods. "Her name is Lily Townsend, she is the music teacher here." Did I just hear that correctly? Ava's face pales almost immediately. She gives her aunt one last look before she storms out of the room, fleeing from the both of us. "You need to keep her safe. She cannot remain here." Her aunt brushes past us and exits. I instantly grab my phone out of my pocket and notice a sh!tload of calls and texts from Alex. F!ck. We forgot about him. Another text comes through and I nudge Ryder who is in a daze. He looks at my screen and his daze soon dies and his normal f!cl off look is sprawled across his face. We jet out of the office, immediately heading for Alex's room. If Lily Townsend is her mother, then Emma is her sister. What the actual f!ck. ***************************************************** ALEX I am at a loss with what to do with myself right now. The discussion with Ryder before is making me antsy. On top of all that, Mimi decides to attack Emma and I seriously want to march over to Candice and her army of plastics and tear them all a new one. "Ava Sinclair, please report to the Principal's office promptly." I hear the message over the loud speaker and I become outraged. The sneaky little b!tch reported her? She's dead. I pull out my phone and start texting Christian, then Ryder. No answer. I decide to call them. Nothing. These assholes better have a f!cking damn good excuse for not answering. I am mere moments away from turning diabolical. Ava is more mine than any of theirs. They're going to both suffer my wrath. I pocket my phone and begin to head out my door when incessant pounding begins. I storm forward, opening to see a panic stricken face on the other side. "F!ck, Ava! Are you okay baby?" She jolts into my arms and we head backwards back into my room. She kicks the door closed behind her and turns to lock it before she wraps herself in my embrace again. I hold her tightly, not knowing what the f!ck to do or say at this point. She picks her head up from my chest and her eyes are brimming with tears. What the f!ck happened to her and who had a hand in it? I'll murder anyone and everyone for breaking my girl's heart. "I need you Alex." She croaks. "Ava, what's wrong?" I try to ask but she shakes her head. Who am I to deny her what she wants? "Lie down baby." I spin her around and she does what she is told. I hover over her while slowly undressing her. She lays beneath me in only her b*a and panties and it brings a shiver up my spine. I attack my mouth to hers, while her leg bends at the knee on one side of me, palming my erection through my pants. She undoes my zipper and pulls my pants and boxers down and I stand up to take them fully off. I slide her panties down and immediately center myself at her core making her moan. I slowly enter and she gasps and I continue on until I am fully inside of her. Her walls clench around me and I groan. "F!cking hell Ava. Your p!ssy is my f!cking kryptonite." She laughs softly, eyes blazing with l**t. "What every girl wants to hear during sex." I smile, bringing my face down to hers. "Beats a marriage proposal." She laughs whole heartedly that my heart explodes in my chest. I'm going to f!cking marry this girl. Instead of fast paced crazy s*x, I opt in taking care of my girl, making her c****x more than once, and me combusting inside of her continuously. I drop to the side of her and pull her into my arms, her head resting against my chest, my fingers playing through her hair. "I know something is wrong baby. What is it? Did my brothers f!ck this up? I'll kill them. They know how I feel about you." She shakes her head while drawing circles on my chest. "My aunt actually came here under the impression that I was a heartless piece of sh!t beating up a defenseless billionaire." She stifles a laugh but continues. "Your brothers were there to back me up regarding my attack on Mimi. Suffice it to say, Mr. Glazer has been arrested and Mimi was threatened by my aunt. Didn't see that one coming right?" I lie there shocked still twirling her hair through my fingers. She sighs. "Apparently, my aunt knew my situation the whole entire time and didn't do anything about it. She claims she was trying to protect me how she wanted but instead of just flat out telling me everything, she wrote it in a letter that I had burned in front of Christian, Ryder and Emma." She pulls from my embrace, clutching the bedsheet to her chest and eyes me. "She said she brought me here so that my birthmother could keep me safe." My eyes widen. "Who's your birth mother?" She closes her eyes and let's out a breath before responding. "Ms. Townsend." I sit fully up, my whole top half against the headboard of my bed. "Ava, if she's your mother, then...." I speak the pieces of the puzzle that are laid before me. "Emma is my sister." My jaw goes slack and I am in a moment of pure shock. "She told me I need to run. Her making an appearance here has put me in jeopardy. If he finds me, he'll find out that my mom and sister are here. They can't get hurt because of me Alex." She says, her lip beginning to quiver. "Over my dead body. We will keep them safe Ava." She looks away from me and like my mind is in tune with hers, I know exactly what she is thinking. "Don't you even think about running Ava. I won't allow it. Christian and Ryder will burn this whole country to the ground searching for you, as will I." She looks back at me and I see the wheels turning in her mind, debating on whether or not I am stating the truth. "Don't you dare say to me that what we just did was your form of goodbye. You are f!cking not leaving me!" I leap off the bed and pull on my boxers and pants. I throw my shirt back on and eye her with every bit of intensity that I feel coursing through my veins. My heart begins constricting and I am falling down a rabbit hole. "I can't risk any of your lives. This is exactly what I meant when I spoke to Ryder before. You three are the only ones that can use to power of infatuation against me, making my walls surrounding my heart to fall. If I do that, then I will be vulnerable and I can't risk that. I need you to take care of all of them for me." She says rising up from the bed with the sheet wrapped around her body. "You're not f!cking leaving!" I ball my fists and all consuming rage floats to the service. Before I can erupt, pounding is once again at the door. A thunderous growl emanates from my chest as I storm to the door. "What the f!ck do you two want!" Ryder and Christina push me backwards into the room seeing my inner demon surfacing. "What's wrong with him?" Christian says as he looks to me then to Ava. "She wants to f!cking leave that's what the f!ck is wrong. She f!cked me as a way of telling me goodbye!" I push past him, running my fingers through my hair making me look utterly psychotic. The both of them look at Ava with immense hurt and anger. "Explains why you haven't texted us back." Christian says as I look at them dumbfounded. They have the balls to insinuate that I am the only one to ignore texts and calls. F!cking pr!cks. It's all I've been doing this whole entire f!cking time! "Ugh, for f!ck sakes, what's wrong now?!" I say through gritted teeth as Ava begins gathering her clothes and redressing. Ryder eyes her while Christian takes one look and turns away. He's mad. Extremely mad. "Daddy dearest texted us." I take my phone out of my pocket to read the message. Victor: Thought you three were smarter than this. I'm coming for my angel. I toss my phone across the room, having it shatter. Ava looks at me flabbergasted. I make my way to her with sinister intent and for her sake, she better heed my damn warning. "So much as set foot off this campus and so help me god, I will tie you up and tie you to that bed right there. Better yet. You're rooming with them two from here on out." She goes to speak but I stand tall mere inches from her beautiful shocked face. "No room for discussion. Ryder, pack her sh!t and move it to your room. Now." Ryder leaves following Christian who won't even spare her a passing look. "What the actual hell Alex!" Ava pushes against my chest menacingly. "Our father is coming and the bast!rd is going to see how f!cked up in the head's we really are. He thinks he dominates this town? Jokes on him while he thinks he is sparking a battle with is, he'll be receiving a f!cking war." I grit out. "Alex! My mom! Emma!" Ava says in a panic state. "They're the ones who are going to leave. I promised you that they will be kept safe and I am not going back on that promise. Everything will be handled by tonight." Ava rushes out and I have no choice to follow her. "Lead the way baby. Where you go, I go." She turns to me defeated and slows her pace. "I need answers." She says and I nod. "Where are we going?" I ask. "To the music room. I need to know what she knows before you sweep both of them away before the Devil himself comes for a visit."
