KATRINA'S POV I woke up around 8 a.m., the house still quiet, so I assumed Xander was still asleep. I threw on yesterday's clothes and went downstairs to make some eggs. Once they were ready, I decided to bring them up to him. When I entered his room, Xander was still sound asleep. He looked pale, almost sickly. I knew that look all too well. It was one of the many side effects of an unfaithful mate. I placed the plate of eggs on his bedside table and gently shook him awake.
