I'd been trying for hours to mind link Ana, to no avail. It's like there was simply static on the other end of the line. I was frantic. Time was slipping by, and the more we waited, the more danger my sweetheart was in. We had sent our best trackers out to try and find her. All they had been able to find out is that she'd gone into the woods near the hospital after leaving the pups, but other than that, it was like she disappeared into thin air. Cody was with our IT guys, going over the hospital security footage to see if anyone suspicious had been anywhere nearby when Ana left.
