When I finally went back to work, it was as if Isabella was waiting for me. it was as if she had been waiting for the opportunity to confront me about whatever she imagined I had done wrong to her this time. I was sure that she was still upset about the fact that I was the one who had gone on the business trip with James instead of her. I couldn't understand why she chose to be so grumpy and angry with me as if I were the one who chose to leave her behind. if she was so unloved with James, why couldn't she talk to him and leave me out of it? she was behaving as if I was the one who was responsible for James, not loving her back, or even wanting anything to do with her.
