ADAM I don't sleep a wink. I don't even try. I spend the early hours of the morning thinking and worrying, and staring at the girl sleeping in my arms. When the bedside alarm goes off at six thirty in the morning, I hastily snooze it. That's my cue to get out of bed and go to the hospital but I don't feel like it. I pull Lisha close to me, hoping that no one will notice my absence at the hospital. I release my breath as I smooth her hair from her face. She sighs when my fingers make contact with her skin but she doesn't open her eyes. My eyes take in her thick hair, her smooth skin, pouty lips and long lashes, and I fight the small frown that I know is etching on my face. I really don't understand how or why she has insecurities. She's perfect in all senses. I'm probably blinded
