Before John took off, he realized why Molly didn't know the time; she had left her phone on the desk in their back office. Since he was going to let the dog out and come back to pick her up later, he started devising some plans. He smiled at her still not having a pin set up on her phone, and went to the contacts list to look up her dad's number. Copying it down quickly, he exited that page, deleted it from her history, and set everything back where it was.
Outside with Blueberry, who was ecstatic to see John, he nervously lit a cigarette and dialed the number that he just stole.
"Hello?" Molly's dad answered.
"Hello sir, this is John Acker." He said trying to sound confident.
"I don't think I know that name, do you have the right number? This is Randy Green."
"Sir..." He hesitated.
