John breathed in the sweet scent of Molly's messy hair as he woke up beside her. He was the kind of person who could spend a whole day in bed, if he felt so inclined, and was surprised at himself for being awake earlier than she was. It didn't take long for her body to naturally become aware as she turned to see John with his eyes already admiring her. She felt herself redden under his stare. "Have you been up for a while?" "Not long enough. I was enjoying watching you sleep. You're too much of a busy body all the time." He said with the deep and raspy voice he always had in the mornings. Molly shyly looked at him as he pushed his morning wood against her side. "Now that you're up, think you'd maybe want to go again?" He asked. She nodded at him, feeling her body heat rise and letting his hands warm her up even more. "You don't seem to worry about my morning breath." She said lightly with concern. "That kind of thing doesn't bother me. I'm grateful enough to have you in bed with me. If you get up to brush your teeth now, I'll just feel lonely and I already want you so badly." He was slow and sensual as he moved himself on top of her. He kissed her so gently that it made her entire body burn with needing him. When he entered her, she gasped and every sound they made seemed quiet and intimate. Once he finished, he pulled out, and brought her to her own climax by touching between her legs. Molly laid in his arms after, unwilling to stop kissing him. "I've never felt like that before." She told him. "Morning s*x is everything I dreamt it to be." "I'm glad you enjoyed that. I think I'm still in disbelief from last night." John replied honestly. Molly kept cuddling close. She rubbed her face sleepily and murmured, "I loved it." She let her eyes shut, overcome by how comfortable and at ease he made her feel. "I love you." John sat up urgently, looking baffled by what he just heard from Molly, who was blissfully unaware that she had unintentionally just confessed her feelings to him. "Why'd you get up?" She asked, still cozy in her position in the bed, keeping her eyes closed. "Molly... you just told me you love me." He said, causing her to mirror his reaction of becoming instantly attentive and sitting up beside him. "Did you mean that?" Molly put her fingers to her lips as if she had actually felt the words escape her mouth. "Yes... I think so." John silently watched her face and told her he loved her back. "You don't have to say it if you don't mean it." She told him, feeling like he was maybe just pitying her. "No, Molly." John said in a forceful tone, "I'm in love with you." She felt a lump in her throat and her eyes started to water so John held her close and told her not to worry. Molly melted in his arms, feeling his strength, and looked up to kiss him. "I guess we should get ourselves ready for work." John smiled at her wistfully. "You always make it so hard for me to get up." Fred was unlocking the door for them as they approached the building with their take-out coffee and paper bags that contained their breakfasts. "For someone who shows up so early you'd think you'd be able to make your own grub in the morning." He said in a light hearted tone as he let them in. "Hi, Fred!" Molly replied, "You know, I used to be really good for that before moving here, but now I can't seem to stop getting distracted in the morning!" John smiled to himself, knowing he was to blame for her distractions, and Fred kept joking, telling her it wasn't all bad since she was, at least, supporting a local business. He was going to tell her to have a good day, like usual, but stopped when he saw her take John's arm, affectionately, as he had started toward the back offices. Molly waved and turned to continue following John, without worrying or noticing that Fred wasn't his typical cheery self at her departure. That afternoon, John's meeting ran behind time and Rosie invited Molly to eat lunch with her and a couple other women in the office. She hadn't met them yet so she agreed and liked being in Rosie's company anyway. One of the women was a journalist named Donna. She had a top heavy body type, a quiet voice, and an outdated perm. The other was an assistant who looked to be around Molly's age or only slightly older. She had an average build, mousey brown hair, and wore glasses. She introduced herself as Emily, and was quick to start talking. "You know, before you came around, I was the office hot girl!" She laughed and Donna rolled her eyes. "Who says you're not still?" Molly asked while politely engaging. "Oh don't, not with your tight little body and your perfect hair and makeup." Emily pointed at her, making a circle with her finger, and fake pouted. Molly smiled and shook her head. "Come on! Look at those hips of yours! I'm sure I just look like a man in a wig to most of the people here." Emily put both hands on the table with a loud thud. "I was joking before, but you need to stop because you're seriously, probably, the hottest girl in this whole town." Unsure of what to even say back, Molly took a bite of her sandwich and looked to Rosie for help. "Oh hush, you." Said Rosie firmly, "Poor Molly is going to think you're coming onto her." All four women laughed and Molly felt very accepted by them. Donna piped up, "So... are you seeing anyone? The men here must be so boring compared to city guys." Molly watched John walk in and grab the coffee pot to fill his cup. She figured they we're used to often taking brashly with each other at work so they didn't care if people walked in on them, since she didn't think he was quiet enough for the other women to not hear him or pay any attention. "I am actually, it's very new. But I'd say he's a lot more interesting than any of the men I met in Northmount." She said with a smile, "It's not like I was a serial dater though." "Oh my God, tell us everything!" Emily exclaimed noisily with excitement. "Well... he's a little older than me." She started saying, "He's got salt and pepper hair." "A silver fox, I love it." Emily interrupted eagerly. "Yes. He's really tall, I'm 5'5" or 5'6", and even when I've got my heels on, he's got a lot of height over me." Emily sighed exaggeratedly and looked intent on hearing more. "What else can I tell you? He's got the best voice, a really sweet and caring side but maintains a strong persona." Molly continued. "How about his body and... you know?" Emily said with a wide smile and a raised eyebrow, making it obvious what she was asking about. Rosie shook her head again and Molly gave a shy smile. "He's a total bear. Just big and hairy all over. Not big as in overweight, but burly, sexy, and manly." She said, biting her lip while catching his eye behind them. Donna shushed everyone and gave a small friendly wave to John who finally opened the fridge to grab some milk to pour into his coffee, knowing he was hanging around a little too long. Hearing Molly's description of him made him wish they didn't have to be at work, but nonetheless he tried to quicken his pace as everyone sat at the table put their attention toward him. "It's lunch time, we're on break and can talk about anything. You can't write us up for gossiping!" Emily told him. He put the carton back, putting his hand up to show his innocence and that he wasn't intending on doing what she'd accused him of. "I didn't hear anything." He told her simply, and walked out of the semi-kitchen break room. Emily childishly stuck out her tongue when she saw his back was turned, then quickly faced the women again. "See, I told you, you're hottest in the office. He definitely wouldn't have been so cool if you weren't here." Donna nodded in agreeance and Rosie gave Molly a stern, but sympathetic, look that made her wonder if she suspected that the description had been of John. After the women started slowly getting ready to get back to work, Emily addressed Molly again. "By the way, Molly, everyone is glad that Megan is gone. I swear she was the worst front desk I've ever met." Donna nodded again and said, "Yeah, what she did to you was awful. Nobody felt bad for her and we're really glad to have another woman in the office." Molly was grateful and told them she enjoyed her lunchtime with them as well, saying that she was happy to be welcomed in. Rosie also agreed about having Megan gone and gave Molly a shoulder squeeze before leaving. "So I'm a bear?" John asked Molly as they got into the car after work. Fred hadn't said anything to them on their way out, only a quick acknowledgement, and John was happy that there was no stopping to talk for once. "Well... you do growl at me sometimes." She teased and laughed as she got into the passenger seat, happy to be going home with him.
