One thing was now certain.
Kane and Camila had began having doubts about me and Lucien’s true identity.
It was bound to happen considering how different Lucien and I was. Compared to him, I wasn’t going to keep Camila entertained and I wasn’t going to turn a blind eye to all of Kane’s wrongdoings so it was only natural they suspected something strange going on.
But regardless, I didn’t want it to happen. But Kane’s confrontation from the previous day proved that it was indeed finally happening.
I couldn’t even imagine what would happen if they both mistakenly found out our true identity. It would be nothing but a calamity. One that was going to befall on the entire pack.
