ALISHA’S POV
Today had to be the happiest I’d been in so long.
Every moment felt precious to me as I spent more than half my day mingling and talking with the pack members in the palace halls.
Our conversations were endless as I spoke to Lucien, Calum, my maids, and random people from the pack who just wanted to know how it felt to be in a different body.
Both the young and old members of the pack were bubbling with questions, and I was more than excited to answer them all.
More often than not, I snuck glances at Lucien and smiled to myself, proud of how far we had come.
He was also smiling more than half the time, his eyes alive in a way that made my heart soar.
If it were entirely up to me, I would have loved to live in that moment for longer.
