Though there was a bit of distance between us, I immediately recognized the man walking towards Alisha.
Arthur.
It had been months since I last saw him, but he looked the same.
Everything about him had refused to change, the only difference now being how I felt towards him.
Knowing how close he used to be to Alisha, a part of me had always felt jealous of him. Insecure, even.
But now, things were completely different, and I felt a bit apologetic.
