I woke up early and took a bath, I made sure I had called the office telling them I was taking a day off before planning my next move.
"Everything will be okay." I whispered to myself while I buttoned my shirt.
A knock came on the door and before I could answer, Martha pushed it open and walked in with a smile.
When her eyes met mine her smile instantly vanished.
"Morning." I greeted softly while I buttoned the last button.
"Morning, are you late for work?" She asked in concern.
"Well very late." I answered, simply trying to get a reaction from her.
