Selene aka The Mother Witch groaned loudly and pushed her head deeper into the pile of books.
" You should rest, love ", her husband, Oliver said, in a concerned voice.
After sending John to the Himalaya, she had completely devoted herself to reading as many books as she could and gathering more information. There was no way John could do this on his own and she felt this huge responsibility on her shoulders that, as Queen of the Witches, she should find a loophole. There was no such thing as a perfect spell or an impenetrable curse, there was always a loophole, she just had to find it.
