"Will you have lunch with me today?" Mia asks as she fixes my collar.
"Babe, I can't. I have a very busy day ahead."
She pauses to glance at my face before she reaches to adjust my tie.
"Too busy even for me?"
The way she says that makes me feel guilty. She doesn't demand for much, so I would be a complete douche to not give her the little she asks for; like my time.
