“What?” Noah asked Niko who was standing in front of him.
“What did you mean “What”? Did you apologize to him?” Niko fired back at him.
“Ah... but why do I have to apologize? I mean... I did nothing wrong,” Noah said, standing and walking away from the bench he was sitting on. “If you're done, meet me outside. I was planning to enjoy my peace here, but it seems you have another mission,” he muttered, brushing past him.
He was just about to reach the garden gate when Kai came in, his face red and his footsteps heavy. Noah noticed right away, his brow twitching slightly.
“What…” Noah started, but Kai quickly turned and walked off, not sparing him a glance. Noah's mouth hung open, looking confused.
