NINA'S POV The room felt too quiet after the detective finished speaking. My heart was beating so loudly I was sure everyone could hear it. Still confused, Nanny Paula broke the silence. “I have no idea who you’re talking about.” I turned sharply to her. My eyes searched her face, expecting fear, panic…something. But she was calm.
