Hers had come late for the two of them, and she’d put that down to the fact that they were already mating like crazy.
Didn’t actually think she was going to go into heat, their bond was good and strong, love was already there, and she thought that a heat came to help newly mated pairs that hadn’t been in a relationship and were perfect strangers to each other most of the time. Meeting at mating balls or by chance on the full moon, so they needed that heat to bring them together and help create a strong bond between the couple.
