Cassie stiffened at the feeling as Cody marked her, certain that's what he was doing. He licked the wound where he'd pierced her skin and then growled lowly in his throat as though satisfied with what he'd done. But when he pulled back, his eyes had returned to normal and to Cassie he looked a bit shell shocked and guilty as though it wasn't what he had planned on doing. Thankfully Liam still remained oblivious thank goodness as she narrowed her eyes at Cody.
"Cody" she hissed not sure if she should be rejoicing or pissed off that he'd marked her without consent.
He looked sheepish now "I'm so sorry, my wolf took control and before I knew it..." he trailed off apologetically as she stiffened. "I know that's no excuse though" he added "and I don't blame you for being angry."
