Cody was still in shock by Benjamin's declaration of finding his mate and then when he'd met her he'd been speechless. She was beautiful he gave her that but he still loved Cassie and thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. He'd readily forgiven Julia as well. After all given her condition and that she'd been trying to protect a loved one he didn't blame her in the slightest. He would do the same thing given the circumstances. He admired her for it.
