After I finally calmed down, I began to shift back, but it felt as though someone else was guiding the process. I found myself transforming without any conscious effort.
Since I wasn't wearing any clothes, Kasey quickly ran to fetch me a towel. I realized I needed to get back to the other side of the island. I wasn't sure how far I had run, but Kasey generously offered me a ride back to the motel. It felt a bit strange, but I didn’t mind, especially since it got me there much faster. Azalea ran alongside us the entire way.
Once we arrived, I went into my room, took a shower, and changed into a fresh uniform, since I had completely shredded the clothes I was wearing before. After getting dressed, I walked outside my room and locked the door to the patio.
