As Adam leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, he looked genuinely angry at me for some reason. “What are you doing here?” I asked. “Is this how you take care of yourself?” he replied. “Yeah, pretty much. I manage to shower every day, go to school, and I now have a job. I’m fine,” I said. “Do you know there are wolves in these woods?” he asked. “Yeah, I’m aware,” I responded. I was definitely aware of the wolves. “You’re not staying here,” he demanded. “I don’t have anywhere else to stay,” I countered. “You’re staying with me,” he insisted. I couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m sure your girlfriend will love that,” I shot back. “Girlfriend?” he asked, confused. “Yeah, the same girl who was clinging to you today and kissing you. If I had known you had a girlfriend, I
