Nina POV:
When Evans called out to me, I waved my arms back at him.
After approaching him, I took the lead and asked, "Evans, you got left behind too?"
Evans spread his hands helplessly and gave a bemused expression.
"I just took a little time to get in line at the public restroom and came out to find the bus had already left. That's pretty bad!"
"Me too," I responded fretfully. Then, I continued to add, "Even more tragic, I left my cell phone and bag on the seat, and now I can't get in touch with anyone at all."
"Me too. I'm sure that after this experience, I'll take them with me to the bathroom in the future to the point of not being left by them."
