I let out a yawn, rubbing my eyes with the back of my hand. The sun filtering through the window made me sigh. It was such a bright day and also my birthday. Stretching my hands in the air, I pushed the duvet off my body.
All my colleagues and friends sent me messages and videos of them singing happy birthday. That's why I was up before than usual. My phone was buzzing from midnight, and as much I wanted to peel my eyes open, it was impossible. I gave up by twelve-thirty and shut my phone off only to unlock it in the morning.
I knew that Alex had something planned for me because he asked me to get ready early in the morning. That's another reason why I was up early. With a sigh, I pushed at the door of the room and stepped inside the washroom.
