The children reacted well to the news of the deaths. I did not expect much of a reaction from Bethany's brood, as they do not know them that well, but I had expected more from my boys or the girls. Other than the tears of the initial shock, they appeared to be fine. Bethany and I have promised Scott that we would help with the girls; they are at that age when they need a female around, especially with Sandra still getting over her own hurt. There are some things you cannot talk about to a man.
