It was late when I finally arrived at the Moon River pack. I sat in my car watching as the gates slowly opened. It was strange, I had left the Lakeside pack so sure about what I needed to do. Yet, now that I was here, just minutes away from being able to do what I came for, I suddenly didn't feel so sure that it was what I truly wanted. How was that possible? I had known that it was Paige that I wanted to spend my life with, to raise children with. So why now was I so unsure about that. I tried to ask myself what it was about Paige that I had fallen so undeniably in love with, but I couldn't answer it.
The guard waved me inside, and I began the drive through the pack. For some reason, I felt nervous by the time that I pulled up in front of the Moon River pack house. I
