The company was good, laughed, and all had a great time.
As always.
Grandma did not allow negative people at parties. If you start to cause trouble, she calls the guards, and you are discreetly removed from the home. If the person being removed is loud and aggressive, they try to resist; it is on them, and Grandma does not mind; the person being removed is embarrassed by resisting being removed.
The gifts were lovely, and most were thoughtfully brought. I will need to make some thank you cards for them. I have noted who gave me what, so I can make the card more personal when I thank them.
"Office now!" Grandpa announced after the bulk of the guests had left.
