Vicky had argued with me for most of the baking time.
I wanted her to go first, mainly because I knew that when Douglas and I announced our gender reveal, she would be overshadowed; Grandma and Grandpa would make such a huge fuss, and I didn't want her to feel left out. She should get some attention first and feel special.
Douglas made sure that Vicky felt special, and poor Franco turned bright red when Douglas gave him a bro-hug and whispered something to him. I will have to find out later what that was. It had to be something personal that only Douglas would know, and my chances of finding out if that is the case were slim. These two were closer than any brother would be. They have been good mates for most of their lives.
When our turn came, I had to laugh at Grandma. S
