The pride I felt as I announced the names of our sons was deep. I could see both grandfathers puff up with pride, and I am positive I saw a tear or two on their cheeks. It is rare to bring a man to that deep emotion that tears flow.
But the information that Jimmy imparted was a double-edged sword.
I was pleased that they were making progress with the investigation. It was closer to being resolved, which would mean Jessica would be reimbursed for the funds lost from the sale of her property, and gain some peace of mind, and possibly end her family's constant hurt to her in one way or another.
