Chapter 6 “Where did she go?” The pressure from the crowded bar had Jo closing the gap with Cassidy. They’d only looked away from the dance floor long enough to decide if they could afford to split another beer. But when Jo looked back, there was no sign of Perrin. Cassidy turned to scan the crowd as well. Perrin’s candy-cane hair should have been easy to spot. Jo felt like they were secret agents as Cassidy flashed a couple hand signs over the roar of Phil Collin’s “Sussudio” or something very like it.
