RAVEN
When I woke up, Kai was beside me. And he offered me a smile. It was one of the few I had ever seen, and I accepted it with a smile of my own.
"How are you feeling?" He started, and I pushed myself up to a sitting position.
"I do not feel as much pain, so good." I said, taking a closer look at my hands. I could swear I had bruises all over.
"The healer said you would only heal fully with the time. But he took care of the burns, scars, and bruises." He answered, and I nodded my head in understanding. I couldn't remember a lot but only that Kai had picked me up. I must have lost consciousness right after. And the healer must have come soon after.
"Hey, you are alright now." Kai came closer, and I shook my head.
"What's wrong?"
