When I arrived there, I was panting. So, I rested for a while by sitting on the chair in front of the examination room.
When Elder Serene saw me, she raised her eyebrows. “Emerald, you are here already.”
“Something’s wrong. Andy’s not at his home. His neighbor said she hadn’t seen him for a few days either,” I said. “We should search for him.”
“Emerald, you need to calm down,” Elder Serene said. “Yes, we’ll search for Andy. But for now, our priority is to check and help our patients here.”
“But?”
Elder Serene stared at me. “If I remember correctly, Andy has taught you about decision making, hasn’t he?”
“Yes, how do you know?”
Elder Serene only smiled. “Finding Andy is an important thing, but before knowing all facts, we don’t know for sure if he’s missing, do we?”
