I took a deep breath. It went far better than I expected. Then when I remembered about Andy’s made-up wound, I pouted at Elder Serene. “So, you and Andy tricked me. I still don’t understand why the idea comes from you?”
“Why not?” Elder Serene laughed. “Just because Andy is naughtier than me doesn’t mean that I don’t have a crazy side either.”
I finally laughed with her. “You got me! I didn’t expect it at all.”
“But you must admit that my idea is brilliant, isn’t it?”
“That you and Andy can successfully trick me? Yes!”
Elder Serene laughed louder to hear that. “No, I mean how I can connect both of you—Andy and you.”
