Cinda was all packed and the suitcase was in Lori’s car. She’d used one of Gabe’s smaller ones, seeing as she didn’t have any herself. Would pick up a few while she was away, smiled right at him as she thought about that, already knew they were going to be pink and sparkly, not because she wanted that but because she knew it would annoy him.
He was standing looking at her amused expression, out the front of her house. “Whatever it is you’re thinking woman, cut it out.” He pointed right at her.
