It was a long, annoyingly frustrating day for nearly everyone on duty. So many disputes and then two car accidents. Only minor injuries, thankfully. But he and Grey had to go and arrest the same person twice. They were both more than annoyed. Their first call out, to that mornings domestic, had seen them arrest the husband, bring him in, charge him with being in breach of his restraining order and then release him.
Only to have him turn up there at his Ex’s house later on in the afternoon drunk and disorderly, and have to arrest him again, got out of their police car to see that man throw a beer bottle at his ex’s house with his kids in the window watching him. They saw their father drunk and angry and hurling not just abuse but beer bottles at their house.
