The rain had stopped, and she was shivering, opened her eyes and lifted her head to look about her, her teeth were chattering, and it was dark all around her, still windy and cold. Cinda bit her lip as tears threatened to well and spill over again. As she recalled her last memories of her previous life. Had to push it down and away, needed to be here in the present, for she had no idea where she was. She didn’t even recall running out into the storm, but knew she must have at some point, because she was now sitting out in the bush, hugging her own legs to her, soaking wet and freezing cold. Wondered how long she had been out here, turned her wrist over and touched her watch screen it lit up to tell her it was nearly 1 in the morning.
