CHAPTER 97 ALEX’S POV The road moved in a blur of streaks of white and black beneath my headlights as I drove away from the hospital. The streets were already shrouded in darkness, despite it just being a few minutes past six. One second the sky glowed with a faint hue of pink, the next it was pitch-black, swallowing everything whole.
