CHAPTER 101 ALEX’S POV The office instantly felt smaller than it ever had. The feeling wasn't physical–nothing, except all that I'd packed, had moved anyways–but the air suddenly felt heavier, like a weight pressing in on my chest. My fingers fiddled uselessly with the open drawer as Sandra stood there, staring at me. I couldn't even tell what I was searching for anymore. Paper clips? Old pens? Nothing? Everything?
