CHAPTER 100 MARA’S POV Lila was already up when I woke–hell, it was the constant patter of her foot against the floorboards that stirred me from my sleep. I turned onto my side with a low groan, my pillow folded over my ear as I tried to block out the sound of her moving around the kitchen. Cups clinking, the low whistle of the kettle on the gas, the faint sound of morning radio murmuring in the background–everything slipped through, adding to the banging that already plagued my head.
