CHAPTER 99 SANDRA’S POV The drive to the office was slow, filled with a suffocating silence that seemed to press in from all sides. I sat still in the passenger seat, my eyes fixed on the passing skyline of the morning city. Trees whizzed past me, we sped past large buildings, and I caught a billboard with my company's ad running on it–but my mind remained in everything that'd happened in that bedroom.
