CHAPTER 89 “Good morning. Good morning. Good morning." I waved, smiled and greeted everybody I walked past as I made my way down the sterile corridor. My phone kept on beeping with messages from Hannah and I ignored everyone. Turning down a corner, I found her hunched in front of one of the wards, phone in hand. I could tell she was ready to text me again until she looked up. The worried look in her face slowly eased into a smile, then a frown. I waved nervously. “I'm so so sorry," I said, my breath coming in quick pants as I rushed toward her. “I just got caught up in a lot and… I'm sorry.” Hannah didn't respond immediately.
